Beveled wood ruler features Imperial measurements scaled in 1/16" markings along a single brass edge. Numerals and graduations are sharply delineated and checked for accuracy. A coat of clear lacquer is added for protection and durability. Ruler is made of select hardwood.

For easy reading, this magnifying ruler features 2X magnification in the raised clear middle so it is ideal for spreadsheets and analyzing data. The wide magnifying area is great for proofing text. Along the parallel edges, the ruler is scaled in both inches (1/16") and metric (centimeter) graduations.

The magnifying ruler is a great multipurpose tool for editing and formatting text and data. One outside edge is a 15" ruler marked with increments down to 1/32" , 1/16" and 1/8". The other is a 38cm ruler with millimeter hash marks. In between are a magnifying bar to highlight text, a character-counting scale to use horizontally across a page, and a line-counting scale to use vertically. The character-counting scale is marked in 1/10" increments. The line-counting scale is marked in 1/6" increments with 1/12" hash marks.

Nonskid ruler is made of stainless steel. Ruler is ruled in 1/16" on one bevel and 1/32" in the first and last inch. The opposite bevel has metric measurements. All markings and numbers are engraved in black. Ruler has a nonskid cork backing.
