The Cisco^®IR510 WPAN Industrial Router provides unlicensed 902-928MHz, ISM-band IEEE 802.15.4g/e/v Wireless Personal-Area Network (WPAN) communications to diverse Internet of things (IoT) applications. As the next generation of the DA gateway, besides supporting the IoT use cases of smart grid, Distribution Automation (DA), and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), it also provides higher throughput, distributed intelligence, GPS, enhanced security. The router supplies enterprise-class RF mesh connectivity to IPv4, IPv6 and RS-232 serial IoT devices, including recloser controllers, capacitor bank controllers, voltage regulator controllers, regulators, distribution line monitors and other Remote Terminal Units (RTUs). Purpose-built to withstand outdoor harsh environments, the IR510 is ideal for installations in pad-mount and pole-mount cabinets and in other demanding locations.

The IR510 takes full advantage of world class Cisco networking expertise in IPv6, security, legacy protocol transport and network management, fog computing. It provides an open RF mesh solution based on the following standards:

The Cisco® Residential Wireless Gateway Model DPC3828 is a high-performance home gateway that combines a cable modem, router, and wireless access point(s) in a single device, providing a cost-effective networking solution for both the home and small office. The Cisco DPC3828 provides a faster connection to the Internet by incorporating eight bonded downstream channels along with four bonded upstream channels. These bonded channels can deliver downstream data rates in excess of 400 Mbps and upstream data rates in excess of 120 Mbps. That's up to eight times faster downloads than conventional single-channel DOCSIS® 2.0 cable modems.

Cisco 890 Series Integrated Services Routers are fixed-configuration routers that provide collaborative business solutions for secure voice and data communications to enterprise small branch offices. They are designed to deliver secure broadband, Metro Ethernet, wireless LAN (WLAN) connectivity, and business continuity. The routers also come with powerful management tools, such as the web-based Cisco Configuration Professional configuration management tool, which simplifies setup and deployment. Centralized management capabilities give network managers visibility and control of the network configurations at the remote site.
