Video Switchboxes

AMX DXLite transmitters and receivers leverage HDBaseT technology to distribute audio, video, and USB 2.0 over a single category cable. AMX DXLite supports 4K60 4:4:4, HDCP 2.2, and HDR video, providing compatibility with the latest source devices and displays. DXLite can be used point-to-point (with a transmitter connected directly to a receiver over a single cable) or be used for distant transport in conjunction with an AMX Incite All-in-One Presentation Switcher.

The onboard USB 2.0 available on the DXLite allows for easy distribution of USB signals between the transmitter and receiver. A USB device, such as an AMX Acendo Vibe conferencing soundbar, can be mounted at the display and connected to a DXLite receiver. A laptop can then connect to the transmitter at the table, with USB and video distributed over category cable.

The Solecis SDX is a family of small digital AV switchers. The 4x1 4K HDMI Solecis Digital Switcher is a 4K and Ultra High Definition (UHD) capable solution that provides four user connection points and includes simplified local control which routes the selected signal to both a DXLink and HDMI output. This provides a simple, low cost solution that combines a DXLink Transmitter and digital switcher into a single small form factor device that is commonly used at a table.

COMMON APPLICATION
Solecis Digital Switchers are ideal for use in huddle spaces or small classrooms to provide simple switching for multiple sources. In larger rooms with multiple work spaces, a Solecis at each table or desk allows users to share content with the work group or the entire room. In even larger integrated environments Solecis digital switchers can provide easy to use source point switching and distance transmission over DXLink to an Enova DVX or DGX for hub-style building or campus-wide distribution.

The AMX VPX-1401 is a cost effective 4x1+1 presentation switcher which supports resolutions up to 4K60 4:4:4 and offers HDCP 2.2 compatibility to support the most current sources and displays. The VPX-1401 includes 3 HDMI inputs and 1 VGA input. The VPX Series switchers include built-in scaling, allowing automatic scaling of signals to match the ideal resolution ofthe display. In addition to the HDMI output, there is also a mirrored HDBaseT output, allowing direct connection to a standard HDBaseT output on a display or connection to an AMX DXLite receiver. USB 2.0 distribution is also available over HDBaseT, allowing simplified connection to USB peripherals such as a camera mounted near the display.

There are a variety of options to control the VPX-1401 as well. Front panel controls are available, as is contact closure for use with source selector buttons. The VPX- 1401 is also NetLinx Native, allowing simplified integration with AMX automation systems.

Common Applications
Ideal for table mounting in conference rooms or for use in flipped classroom environments.

The N7142 is the first presentation switcher to incorporate low-latency Networked AV video distribution. It has six local inputs, four outputs, and two available slots for any of our new and existing networked AV cards to support the best codec for the application. The four 4K60 HDMI inputs and two VGA inputs, can be independently switched between two scaled HDMI outputs. Each of the two outputs has a mirrored HDMI port so that the output can be sent to an encoder card, a second display, or other video distribution equipment.

The N7142 also has a 60W stereo amplifier capable of operating in 4Ω/8Ω, 70V, or 100V modes. In addition to audio from the HDMI inputs, the N7142 has six independent balanced stereo inputs and two independent microphone inputs with phantom power for simple microphone overlay.

Two models of the N7142 are offered. The NMX-PRS-N7142 is the base presentation switcher, with two available Networked AV slots that can be populated with encoder and decoder cards as required by the application. The NMX-PRS-N7142-23 is an identical presentation switcher, prepopulated with one N2312 encoder card and one N2322 decoder card, making it perfect for cost-sensitive 4K video distribution applications.

Common Applications
While the N7142 is priced right for any design requiring the need of a presentation switcher, the two available Networked AV card slots make it the perfect presentation switcher for active learning environments, or campuses where overflow support is required.

The N7142 Presentation Switcher features an intuitive web interface that makes it easy to configure, control and use. For basic input switching or volume adjustment, educators and presenters can use the straightforward front-panel controls. The N7142 is also AMX NetLinx Native for use in AMX NetLinx control systems. With a built-in 6-port managed switch, the switcher and the Networked AV cards can be connected to the LAN with only a single network drop.
