Gigabit and Fast Ethernet
The IS130 Series SFP port supports both Gigabit and Fast Ethernet Small Form-Factor Pluggables (SFPs). This makes the IS130 Series ideal for environments where Gigabit fiber will be phased-in over time, and allows for uninterrupted connectivity to the legacy 100FX hardware while it is upgraded to Gigabit Ethernet.

Support for both SFP speeds allows organizations to stay within budget as they migrate to faster technologies.

Power over Ethernet
The IS130-6GP is a Power over Ethernet Power Sourcing Equipment (PoE PSE) device, which is compliant with IEEE802.3af and IEEE802.3at standards

Each port supplies either 15.40W PoE with 12.95W available to the powered device, or 30.00W PoE+ with 25.50W available to the powered device.

PoE sourcing is the ideal solution to support many devices, including:

• Pan, Tilt and Zoom (PTZ) cameras with heating/cooling fans for outdoor applications
• Enhanced infrared lighting
• Lighting controllers
• LED lighting fixtures
• Remote Point of Sale (POS) kiosks

The Allied Telesis SwitchBlade® x8112 is a 12-slot Advanced Layer 3+ chassis switch designed to deliver high availability, wirespeed performance, and a high port count. The SwitchBlade x8112 is a high-performing scalable solution, providing an extensive range of connectivity options. Dual control cards are partnered with ten line card slots. AMF secure mode increases network security with management traffic encryption, authorization, and monitoring. AMF Guestnode allows third party devices, such as IP phones and security cameras, to be part of an AMF network.

Switch ports may be aggregated on different units, for excellent high availability. Vista Manager
Vista Manager provides a single-pane-of-glass interface to the entire network. The dashboard includes network details and status, event information, and a topology map.

Critical issues, such as internal security threats, link tampering, network loops, environmental alarms, and failed nodes, are highlighted on the network map and in the event log so they can be easily dealt with. A syslog server shows informative messages from network nodes, while asset management enables firmware and configuration backup and upgrade of one, many, or all devices.

The integrated SD-WAN orchestrator automatically optimizes inter-branch connections for secure application delivery.
