Emerald® PE PoE provides users with a seamless desktop experience anywhere on a TCP/IP network while allowing the actual hardware to be stored in a corporate data center or in the cloud. This robust solution is easy to deploy on standard corporate networks and even across WANs. PE enables the same experience of a desktop PC even for media-rich applications, like video and photo editing.

Emerald PE supports multiple setups: It allows you to link transmitters and receivers in a point-to-point KVM extension over CATx up to 100 meters or even farther using an IP or WAN connection. Or connect multiple transmitters and receivers to an Emerald or IP switch to create a matrix switching setup.

Your Emerald KVM network may start small with a point-to-point extension, but it's infinitely scalable to meet your future needs just by adding endpoints, with no extra chassis or cards required. PE supports up to 32 endpoints with no additional KVM management appliance. For larger deployments, use Boxilla® to manage your enterprise KVM network centrally.

Simple System Management
Manage bandwidth and user access, deploy new endpoints, update firmware, and more. Emerald PE can be managed via the receiver's OSD or the central KVM management platform Boxilla. Boxilla is a hardware-based management appliance that features a user-friendly, browser-based GUI.

Fail-Safe Operation
Your 24/7 operation requires network resilience. Use the redundant network ports on the Emerald PE units to provide continuous, uninterrupted operation in the event one network experiences loss of service. Connect the endpoints through either two alternative direct links, a direct link, and a network connection or two independent networks.

Multiple Power Options with PoE
Emerald PE supports powering receiver units via Power over Ethernet (PoE) from the transmitter unit or via an external PSU. Use both PoE and an external PSU for redundant power supply.

DKM HD Video and Peripheral Matrix Switch Compact Transmitter, Fiber, Dual DVI-D Plus (4) USB HID

• Connect users and computers to the DKM HD Video and Peripheral Matrix Switch, while extending them simultaneously over long distances.
• Order one transmitter for each computer connected to the DKM.
• Use one receiver for each user within the DKM system.

• The fiber-compatible extenders can be used with multimode or single-mode fiber optic cable.
• Maximum distance over multimode fiber is 3281 feet (1000 m).
• Maximum distance over single-mode fiber is 6 miles (10 km).
• Also available in models compatible with CATx cable.

The flexible topology of the Agility gives you several extension option applications for KVM extenders. The Agility can be a KVM switch, a sharing portal, or a DVI extender; it's up to you and how you decide to configure it.

As a point-to-point KVM extender, use CAT6 cable to connect a transmitter and a receiver to deliver perfect DVI, audio, and USB. You can configure this setup to go to multiple screens at one time or add new units for additional functionality.

Turn your network into a KVM matrix switch with the Agility. Create a KVM switch with as many users as you want - just keep adding receivers. With mixed channels, combine video, audio, and USB devices from different destinations.

In a single-target configuration, multiple users can share a single remote computer. View-only shows only the video feed. In Share Mode, an open connection is available for all users to use connected devices at the same time. In Exclusive Mode, one user locks out the other users, preventing them from viewing or sharing the connection, with the exception of network administrators.

The Agility system multicasts video and audio over an IP network to several receiving units. The installed network switch should feature Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP) snooping. This stops an IP switch from passing on multicast data onto every port, even if it's not part of the Agility system. IGMP snooping reduces the amount of traffic generated by Agility transmitter units that are configured for multicast operations and prevents performance degradation and wasted network bandwidth.

Management system: iPATH
The ServSwitch Agility Controller Unit offers a management suite enabling you to remotely and securely configure all the transmitter and receiver units. Define new content channels, restrict and enable access privileges, push control, disable specific USB device classes, and perform other remote configurations.

• Distribute high-quality medical images to doctors and staff across large medical facilities. Agility uses standard Ethernet equipment, so the networking hardware doesn't need to be updated.
• In command and control room setups, multicast video and data to receiver units between LCD display walls. Users can interact with any of the computers using separate keyboards, mice, and DVI displays.
• Media post-production suites become collaborative with the Agility. Machine rooms store the media assets and hardware and can distribute them throughout a post-production facility. Editors, producers, and directors can instantly communicate with animators and colorists.
• Get real flexibility for your digital signage network. All you need is an IP network running through the installation, and you can easily deliver content from one playout device via DVI. The number of screens is up to you.
• For another digital signage application, use the Agility to switch between multiple video sources.
• Deliver rich media experiences in public spaces, such as museums or libraries. The flexibility of the system makes reconfiguring your implementation a snap.

The Agility IP-Based KVM Extension system transmits DVI-D video, USB, USB2.0 and audio signals via an Ethernet local area network (LAN). Send signals up to 330 feet (100 m), or even farther with the addition of network switches. Use the Agility Controller to enable remote secure configuration of transmitters and receivers via a Web browser. The Agility system offers a flexible topology of switching and extension. Use it in point-to-point KVM extension, to multicast HD video, or for single-target sharing. Agility transmits pixel-perfect video with no-loss compression, minimizing bandwidth use while maximizing user experience. The maximum resolution is 1920 x 1200.
