The ComNet™ CNFE2MCPOE Ethernet media converter is designed to transmit and receive 10/100 Mbps data over optical fiber through user selectable SFP modules. These models require the ordering of sold-separately interchangeable SFP modules for fiber type, distance and connectors. The CNFE2MCPOE transmits and receives a single channel of Ethernet data. It also supports IEEE 802.3at Class 1 - 4 as Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) with up to 30 Watts @ 48VDC. The electrical interface will Auto-Negotiate to a 10 Mbps, or 100 Mbps Ethernet rate without any adjustments. The optical interface operates at a 100 Mbps Ethernet rate. It is environmentally hardened to operate in extreme conditions. LED indicators are provided for confirming equipment operating status.

The ComNet CNFE3DOE2/M allows any combination of two RS-232, RS-422, or 2 or 4-wire RS-485 serial data circuits to be inserted onto any 10/100 Mbps Ethernet-based network. The CNFE3DOE2/M units include two serial data input/output ports, and three Ethernet ports featuring two electrical ports and one SFP port. It may be used to tunnel serial data over an IP network or as a media converter, for converting copper transmission media to fiber. Access one serial device from the Internet and another serial device from a local area network (LAN) using SSH or SSL. The CNFE3DOE2/M provides control of the remote hardware, as if it were connected directly to the PC COM port. A USB to serial converter may be required in new PCs without a DB9 serial connection.

The ComNet CNFE3TX2CXMS(U,E) is an edge Cellular VPN Gateway with 2 10/100TX Ports (1 ? LAN, 1 ? WAN) and 1 standard SIM card slot. It supports 802.1X and MAC filter for security control. The Gateway can be configured to operate in 3 modes: Dynamic/Static IP route, PPPoE authentication, and Modem dial up. The units can be powered by an IEEE 802.3af PoE compliant device on port 1 or through the 4-Pin terminal block with dual DC Inputs. The Gateways are DIN Rail mountable and feature a rigid IP-30 housing.

The ComNet CNFE3FX1TX2C/M series is an industrially hardened three-port intelligent switch with light management functionality and an integrated contact closure server. The 100BASE-FX port supports conventional CAT-5e/CAT-6 copper or optical transmission media by selection of the appropriate ComNet SFP* module. A summary fault alarm provides indication via a form c relay in the event of loss of optical link or operating power. The 10/100BASE-TX ports support both auto-negotiation and automatic MDI/MDI-X crossover for full and half-duplex operation; manual MDI/MDI-X switching is not required. The integrated contact closure server is available with 4 or 8 channels and supports individual user selectable wet or dry inputs. Form A relay outputs feature individual user selection of normally open or normally closed operation via the built-in web GUI. The contact server supports 4 modes of operation including one-to-one, one-to-many, many-to-one and stand-alone.

The internal/self-contained 9 to 36 VDC or 24 VAC power supply features redundant power inputs, for the highest possible reliability. The simple to install, CNFE3FX1TX2C/M Series is DIN-rail or panel-mountable, and is ideal for mission-critical applications where very high levels of reliability and network availability are of the utmost importance.
