Use the KVM Extenders to send high-resolution 4K@60Hz (4:2:0 8-bit) video as well as signals for USB keyboards, mice, and other human interface devices (HID), and power and control signals. The extender includes a local unit that attaches to the CPU and a remote unit that connects the user's KVM console. But you can also plug in a monitor on the local side - which is great for monitoring and administration right at the computer. Requires only one power supply.

No matter what Cat5 or higher cable you use, you can expect clear, high resolution at the remote end with ServSwitch ACU2001A KVM Console/Extender. That's because the Catx kits' remote units and individual standalone remote units feature a built-in skew compensator. Color drift caused by the different twist ratios of the twisted pair cable is eliminated. The skew compensator removes the unsightly color shadows by delaying some color signals so that all color signals arrive at the same time at the remote end. This skew compensation works with all colors transmitted.

With ServSwitch Brand Single-Video CATx KVM Extender Dual-Access model, you can attach an additional monitor, keyboard, and mouse to the local unit. You can then operate the PC from either the local or remote user station. These stations share access on a "first come, first served" basis.

USB HID support
The extender supports of a variety of HIDs. Keyboards and mice are the most common HIDs, but other devices based on HID protocol, including some touch screens, will work as well.
