CRU encryption is hardware based and encrypts every sector of the drive including boot sectors, swap space, and temp files. Data is encrypted in real time in the hardware completely independent of the operating system. A physical key is used to encrypt, decrypt, and grant access to the data. This means your important and sensitive data is safe.
