The Cisco^® Connected Safety and Security Unified Computing System^™ (Cisco UCS^®) platform series offers you performance and density for deploying and managing Cisco Video Surveillance Manager. Cisco Connected Safety and Security UCS comprises a suite of two server models and a wide array of features in a single, easy-to-use, and easy-to-deploy configuration.

• The Cisco Connected Safety and Security UCS C220 model (CSS UCS C220 M4) is an enterprise-class server in a one-rack unit (1 RU) form factor with Intel® Xeon® E5-2600 series processor family CPUs that deliver significant performance and efficiency. In addition, it supports up to four 3.5-inch drives for added density in a compact 1 RU package.
• The Cisco Connected Safety and Security UCS C240 model (CSS UCS C240 M4) is an enterprise-class server in a 2RU form factor with dual Intel Xeon E5-2600 series processor family CPUs that deliver significant performance and efficiency. In addition, it supports up to twelve 3.5-inch drives for storage expandability and performance.

CSS UCS C220 is an enterprise-class server in a one-rack unit (1-RU) form factor with Intel Xeon E5-2600 series processor family CPUs that deliver significant performance and efficiency. In addition it supports up to four 3.5-inch drives for added density in a compact 1RU package.

Powerful platform for SAP HANA

The Cisco^® C880 M5 Server provides a powerful foundation for the memory-intensive SAP HANA solutions. With eight Intel^® Xeon^® 8180M or 8176 processors in its CPU, the C880 M5 is configured and deployed for SAP HANA workloads, including analytic SAP Business Warehouse, and transactional workloads, such as SAP ERP, CRM, and S4/HANA. This no-compromise server is a balance of performance, expansion capabilities, and flexibility to scale in a 5-Rack-Unit (5RU) form-factor.

Ready for SAP HANA workloads

The Cisco C880 M5 hardware comes fully configured. Choose from 3, 6, or 12 terabytes (TB) of memory, depending on the projected in-memory database size requirements.

Scale up or scale out architecture

The server can be deployed as part of a scale-up architecture, where SAP HANA database tables are deployed as a single-server appliance, or as part of an SAP HANA cluster. The server can be configured with 3 TB or 6 TB of memory for Business Warehouse implementation. The versatile server can also be configured with 3 TB, 6 TB, 9 TB, or 12 TB for scale-up transactional workloads, or for the scale-out S/4 workload.

SAP HANA Certified or TDI: A flexible server deployment

This certified SAP HANA solution reduces risk and accelerates installation and deployment. The 40 x 1.8 TB hard disk drive storage provides the performance required for HANA appliance implementations. SAP HANA Tailored Datacenter Integration (TDI) installations are also fully supported by replacing the attached storage with enterprise data center storage that meets the SAP HANA TDI requirements. Save on costs by leveraging your existing storage investments.

Cisco UCS^® Director facilitates infrastructure deployment and real-time monitoring and management, including system inventory and operational health status, monitoring, and troubleshooting SAP HANA-specific workflows.
