Furthermore, the bezel sits only 2.5 mm above the screen, making an almost completely flush bezel to easily switch your view between screens.

Space Saving

The dimensions of the RX560 MammoDuo are reduced by 67 mm horizontally, 36 mm vertically, and 20.5 mm in depth compared to a conventional side-by-side configuration with a single monitor of the same total resolution. The total space occupied by the monitors was reduced by 22%, creating a more unrestricted environment with expanded viewing space.

Full Color Support for Ultrasound, Breast CT and MRI

Breast cancer screenings are increasingly combining the use of mammography and ultrasound to view patients with high breast density. Furthermore, if breast cancer is suspected, various other tests may also be needed such as biopsy, breast MRI and CT.

The RX560 is the world's first medical monitor to use low temperature polysilicon (LTPS) liquid crystal display. Because of this, the color monitor can reach a brightness of up to 1100 cd/m2, similar to that of monochrome monitors. Due to this high brightness, the RX560 can display high-definition monochrome breast tomosynthesis and mammography images with deep blacks and no washout in addition to color images such as ultrasound and pathology.

Furthermore it has a high contrast ratio of 1500:1, approximating that of a monochrome monitor, displaying deep blacks without any washout.

Optimum Breast Screening Monitor

The monitor has obtained FDA 510(k) clearance by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for breast tomosynthesis and mammography. This ensures that the monitor is capable of displaying detailed breast screening images where high performance is essential.

The Hide-and-Seek function enables users to easily hide the PinP (Picture in Picture) window not currently in use and reopen it as needed by moving the mouse cursor to the edge of the screen. This eliminates the need for an extra monitor while still allowing quick and efficient viewing of reports, patient charts, and other information.

Barrier-Free Workstyle

With the Switch-and-Go function USB switching is done within the monitor. This enables users to use a single keyboard and mouse across two PCs. Users can easily work on either PC by simply moving the mouse cursor across the screens. This enhances work efficiency and creates a cleaner workspace.

Achieve Clarity True to the Source Data

A medical monitor needs to be capable of high brightness in order to meet performance standards. However, in order to achieve high brightness in an LCD panel, the pixel aperture ratio has to be increased. This causes a typically unavoidable decline in sharpness. With EIZO's unique Sharpness Recovery technology, the decrease in sharpness (MTF) is restored . This allows you to display an image safely on the monitor that is true to the original source data, even at high brightness levels.

MTF measures numerically how faithfully the panel transfers detail from the original image data for viewing. When Sharpness Recovery is turned on, in the case of a 2 pixel line pair (spatial frequency of 1.270 cycles/mm) the MTF increases by approximately 51%.

Compared to its predecessor, the monitor's width and depth were reduced by 9.5 mm and 56.5 mm respectively. In addition, the size of the power supply was greatly reduced and now comes built into the monitor. This results in a monitor that takes up 23% less space, giving you more room for other tasks. It is also 6 kg lighter than the previous model for ease of installation.

Hassle-Free Multi-Monitor Configuration

The monitor is equipped with DisplayPort 1.2 input and output terminals. Using a single cable connected to the input terminal, the monitor displays 6 megapixel resolution. In addition, using the output terminal allows you to easily configure several monitors in a daisy chain sequence without the hassle of excessive cabling.

Seamlessly View Images

The monitor is equipped with Picture by Picture (PbyP) to allow you to view input from two separate video signals on a single screen. In addition, the monitor's slim bezels offers a more comfortable multi-monitor layout for viewing images side-by-side for seamless viewing.

Optimized Brightness with Auto EcoView

The Auto EcoView function is a sensor on the front of the monitor that measures ambient light and optimizes the screen's brightness to a level akin to viewing a sheet of paper under typical office lighting conditions. Since the screen is never too bright, eye strain is reduced while power consumption is cut by up to 50% compared to operating the monitor with Auto EcoView turned off and set to the default factory brightness of 100%.

IPS Panel with Wide Viewing Angles

The IPS (in-plane switching) panel offers 178° viewing angles to minimize color shift and contrast when viewing the screen at an angle. This ensures stable and consistent display when two or more people view the screen at once or in a multi-monitor environment.

Three Inputs Including DisplayPort

DisplayPort, DVI-D 24-pin, and D-Sub mini 15-pin inputs are included for connection with various graphics boards.

Viewing Comfort with an Ergonomic Stand

Adjust the screen to the most comfortable position with 100 mm height adjustment, 30° tilt, 70° swivel, and 90° rotation for portrait mode. A stand with 30° tilt only is available as an option.

Reduced Blue Light

A preset mode called "Paper" adjusts the brightness, contrast ratio, and color temperature to simulate those of printed paper. Paper mode significantly reduces the amount of blue light emitted from the screen for more comfortable viewing.

Built to Last Five Years

EIZO's five-year warranty is two years or 67% longer than the standard three-year warranty of most brands. Even if the initial purchase price of the FlexScan S1934 is higher than another 19-inch monitor, the TCO (total cost of ownership) will likely be lower due to the significantly longer buying cycle and less need for repair.
