SUPERIOR REFERENCE SOUND

AKG engineered the drivers using large 53mm transducers and powerful 1.5 Tesla magnet systems to ensure greatest-in-class headroom and accurate imaging. The two-layer, copper-covered aluminum voice coil works with the special magnet design to deliver high sensitivity, superior impulse response, and an extended frequency range of 5Hz-54kHz.

OPTIMIZED CLOSED-BACK DESIGN

The newly designed, closed-back ear cups provide optimal isolation from external sound in critical monitoring applications. Worn by your recording performer, K872 delivers a most inspiring listening experience while ensuring sensitive microphones and your recorded tracks will be free of headphone "leakage."

REMARKABLE COMFORT

The K872 combines the comfort of AKG's legendary lightweight self-adjusting headband with a new quick-lock mechanism that maintains the right shape for your head, so there's no need to readjust every time you use the headphones. 3D-shaped slow-retention ear cups provide an exceptional personalized fit and comfort.

LONG-LASTING DURABILITY

Every rugged component of the K872 is tested by our engineers to ensure premium AKG performance wherever you go. All the mechanically critical parts are made of metal-from the precision cardan hinge to the headband. Details such as the trim ring around the ear cup provide a superior seal for the speaker plate.

For critical sound reproduction in cinemas utilizing a solid screen. The 3733 uses the 4739 LF for increased low frequency output. The M/HF utilizes Dual Dissimilar Arraying technology to shape the coverage pattern for the optimal use. In addition the horn design improves the frequency response and lowers distortion at higher output. The 2415-XP high frequency drivers represent JBL's latest HF compression driver, designed to achieve higher output with lower harmonic distortion.

The JBL Model 4642A is a high quality subwoofer system, featuring an advanced technology 460 mm (18 in), low frequency transducers mounted in a direct radiator, bass-reflex enclosure for smooth response to the lowest audible frequencies. The 4642A is ideal for low-frequency augmentation of either analog or digital soundtracks in motion picture theaters and for general sound reinforcement applications.
