RackSolutions 18" Lockable Rackmount Drawers provide a secure enclosure to store equipment that you need on-hand for your server rack, such as USB drives, hardware, cable management supplies, manuals, patch cables, networking tools, and more. Available in sizes from 2U-4U, this drawer features an integrated lock to keep all of your equipment safely stored. The rack-mountable drawer extends up to 20" from the rack on high-quality ball bearing slide rails. With up to 2,000 cubic inches of storage, the 18" drawer is perfect for storing a laptop or full-sized keyboard. The rear access holes allow cables to be routed to any equipment that is stored in the rackmount drawer. An optional bracket is available to fasten the drawer to the rear of the rack to prevent sagging into the rack units below. When rear brackets are used, the mounting depth is between 3"-32" deep.

Computing equipment can be installed in 2post server racks with the use of specialized rail kits. These rail kits allow the equipment to be installed in either a center mount or a flush mount configuration. The standard rail kits can be used to install computing equipment in a two post server rack with the addition of a relay rack conversion kit. 2 Post Data Racks are manufactured using two different methods - the highest quality server rack posts are extruded. This means the aluminum is formed and not bent. The second method used to make 2 post open frame racks is to bend flat sheets of aluminum or steel. These open frame relay racks are of lesser quality than the extruded 2 post relay racks. All of our 45U and 24U server racks are made from extruded aluminum and are the highest quality available. All of our open frame relay racks are knock down(flat-packed) and ship ready-to-assemble, making it easier to handle and store until needed. We promise you're going to have a great experience.
