The Eaton Telescopic Chimney (TC) is a passive straight duct designed to channel the rear heat exhaust from the S-Series enclosures. The TC channels the hot exhaust from the rear of the unit to the return plenum, increasing cooling efficiencies in the white space.
The chimney prevents the remixing of hot exhaust with cool air intake and prevents the recirculation of hot exhaust to the server or network equipment. This chimney eliminates your hot aisle and keeps your equipment from polluting your surrounding infrastructure with heat exhaust
